Well I made it to Paris yesterday. It was a long flight, but it went smoothly for the most part. It's just now hitting me that I'm actually in France.
I'm in France!!!
My first impressions of Paris are: dirty, stinky, diverse, and endlessly fascinating. It's a beautiful city not just for all the history and such that it has, but because of all the dirt and stench that bring it character. It's impossible for me to bored as I walk around. There's so many things going through my head right now that I'm not really sure what to write...

Darn you! Wish I was there too. I had a lot of fun stopping people in the streets to ask them directions and ask if they speak English. Most spoke a little but a few didn't want anything to do with Americans.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I've already gotten a lot of weird looks from passerby's just for speaking English with my friends here. I can't even imagine (well, actually I can imagine...) what some of the people here would do if I asked them if they speak English. They're certainly proud of their language!
